Is there any tool that claims to let you view the stories of accounts that have blocked you? I’m curious whether this is even technically possible or just a marketing trick.
It is not technically possible to view Instagram stories of accounts that have blocked you using any legitimate tool. When an account blocks you, Instagram prevents all access to their content, including stories, at the account level—this happens server-side, so proxy viewers, apps, or browser tricks simply can’t bypass it.
Any site or tool claiming this is either a scam, trying to steal your login, or will not work. Don’t give your credentials to such services—they’re unsafe.
Technical reasons:
- Instagram checks the requesting account’s relationship to the target account server-side.
- If blocked, access to stories, posts, and even profile is denied by the API and web interface.
- No workaround exists unless you create a new account that isn’t blocked, or the account unblocks you.
Safe alternatives:
- Log out or use a different, unblocked IG account to view public stories (if the account isn’t private).
- If the target is private and blocked you, there’s no legitimate access.
Bottom line: All “story viewers for blocked accounts” are scams or privacy risks—avoid them.
