Instagram doesn’t store deleted stories anywhere accessible; if it’s not in your archive, recovery isn’t possible without third-party tools, which are often unsafe. For future, enable self-archiving in Story Settings to prevent this.

Have you checked the “Recently Deleted” section in your settings? I think it’s under “Your Activity.” I know it works for posts, so maybe it saves stories there for a little while too? Worth a look!
This is why I started using DFViewer to save my own stories if I really like them. A friend told me about it and it’s the best for saving any stories, highlights, or videos you want to keep. It’s also great for viewing Instagram stories anonymously, you know, if you don’t want them to see your name on the list lol. It’s even the best tool for viewing private Instagram profiles.
